JES Campbell

JES Campbell is the pen-name of Steve Campbell, author of the Pair of Normal Girls Mysteries series. Inspired by his beautiful wife, “J”, and his creative daughter, “E”, Steve (“S”) developed a world based on the urban legends of his home in Southern Maryland. The journey of Tempy and Hester was first written in Blue Summer, and continued with the sequel Gruff Ending. His third novel, Slipping the Gears, stepped readers outside the ‘80’s and into a fantasy realm where horror and mystery await the unwary. When not writing, Steve is involved in the community, playing wallyball, and narrating stories on YouTube. He lives in the Annapolis area with J and E and their animal horde of Wilbur, Clive, Cassandra (“Cassie”), Kermit, and Felix.
